Sarah, Cam, and Baby Bump Evalyn
This Indiana maternity photoshoot is super special to me because the mother-to-be is my lifelong friend Sarah. Sarah and I grew up together in a rural Indiana community. We then continued our education together at Purdue University. We finally parted ways for graduate school. Sarah headed out to Pennsylvania and myself to Chicago.
Here she is carrying her first child, a little girl. The photoshoot took place on her family’s multi-generationally owned farm. The blanket Sarah is sitting on was saved for her by her great-grandmother who made it by hand. As a little girl, Sarah told her great-grandmother that she thought the blanket was pretty. Without Sarah’s knowledge, the blanket was put away to be saved for her to have when she was all grown up. Including it in her maternity session was a way of including her dear great-grandmother who is no longer with us.
Sarah and Cam enjoyed their first wedding anniversary just short of a month before baby made three. The little girl in the bump, Evalyn Sarah, was born October 21st. I’m so excited to meet baby Eva. I can’t wait to get my camera on her and capture up all the love she brings.
